Nangaringa was registered as stud number 81 in 1960. Based on the edge of pastoral country in the Riverland of South Australia we strive to breed cattle suited to a range of climates. Bulls are regularly sold into the Northern Territory, New South Wales & Victoria along with crossbreeding operations in the high rainfall South East of South Australia. We focus on breeding predominantly polled bulls with excellent structure, temperament, muscling and weight gain to meet a number of different markets.
Nangaringa is run by Richard and Deidre Fogden, along with their son Peter, his wife Justine and their three children Alizah, Thomas & Eleni. Over the years we have had excellent success in the showring. Recent highlights include exhibiting the Junior and Grand Female along with Supreme exhibit at the 2019 Sydney Royal with Nangaringa Naomi. The success continued at the Royal Adelaide Show winning Junior and Reserve Champion Santa Gertrudis Heifer and Senior and Reserve Champion Bull along with most successful exhibitor for the second year in a row. Nangaringa Parker P796 a junior bull from this team sold for an equal top price of $10000 earlier this year at the Walmona Invitational Sale. We are currently running 200 stud females at Nangaringa, along with a 150 cow commercial operation using Santa Gertrudis bulls over Charolais cross and British Breed females at our property at Mundulla in the South East. We are very excited to be able to be a part of the Western Downs Santa Sale and look forward to meeting you all in September.
