Byac Pistol P6 (P)
Byac Santas was established in May 2006, by 13-year-old Cayb Schwerin. From the start Cayb has had big dreams to build an empire of quality Santa Gertrudis Cattle for both stud and commercial. Currently Byac Santas is run on Cayb’s 70acres located at Spring Creek, Queensland with 15 stud cows. This will be the first of many properties for Cayb and Byac Santas.
The stud name “BYAC”, is Caybs name spelt backwards. Since the beginning, Cayb has always had a good quality eye for cattle, in the stud herd at the moment run the bloodlines from Norella, Allendale, Diamond H, Esgee Plains, Talgai & Oakdale to name few.
Cayb has successfully shown his stud bulls, heifers, cows throughout the Southern Queensland show circuits including the EKKA. Not only has Cayb successfully shown cattle but has also successfully competed in numerous Junior Judging and Paraders events across Southern Queensland and again at the EKKA.
Cayb started selling Byac Santas Bulls through the Big S Sale in Toowoomba and the Heartland Sale at Roma. Byac Santas have successfully sold through both these sales as well as privately.
Cayb has achieved a lot with his stud in the past 11years, with bulls like Byac Jordy in 2010 making $8,500.00, Byac Fabulous in 2012, making $12,000. With having these potential sires out and about only helps to making Byac Santas name even bigger.
After having a break from the show circuit for a couple of years, to build a house and to focus on improving his 70acres, Cayb returns to the well known show rings with a Santa Heifer that he has bred out of the Hayleigh heifer that was raffled at the Toowoomba Sale 3years ago and by the bull mentioned above, Byac Jordy. This little heifer, Byac Maddie is just a little ripper and will be a valuable part to the future breeding of Byac Santas.
Pictures shown below are of the bulls, Byac Jordy and Byac Fabulous, Cayb’s show heifer at present, Byac Maddie and a group picture of Cayb’s stud and commercial cows and calves.
