The Beutel family'sWarrillee Santa Gertrudis stud is based at Bunburra 6km south of Boonah. Our property is located on the coastal side of the Great Dividing Range, east of Cunninghams Gap. We have been breeding Santa Gertrudis cattle for over 40 years with the stud being established in 1980.
Warrillee cattle are bred to satisfy the requirements of the commercial beef industry. At the local Boonah and Beaudesert commercial show and sales Warrillee cattle or progeny of Warrillee bulls constantly win the Supreme Champion awards and sell for the highest prices per kg mainly to Darling Downs feedlots or for replacement breeders. The saying 'The coastal cattle that go to the west do the best' has been proven many times, Warrillee bulls that have been sold to the west of the Great Dividing Range have grown and performed very well for their new owners.
